Loddon Explorers headed to Ypres, Belgium to take part in the Leper 100km challenge through the fields of Flanders, they completed the 100km walk over 3 days (30km, 40km, 30km); all did amazingly well showing great determination and resilience, coping with warm temperatures and sore feet! They also made time to visit the Tyne Cot and Langemark cemeteries and took part in the Menin Gate Last Post service parading through the town and laying a wreath.
The scouts participation was appreciated by both the British and German army and they were awarded with the trophy for being the largest group to finish! Well done all.
