The Assistant District Commissioner role supports group based volunteers through regular communication with the group sections, as well as occasional organising of District events.
What you’ll get out of it
You’ll gain experience of coaching others, advising on challenges and working in a team. There may also be the opportunity to run events. Whatever the focus, you will learn skills which will help you in the work-place.
What we need from you
We’d need you to complete a DBS check and do some basic training within 5 months of you starting. Then there is some more training to do which will cover other parts of the role, but this takes prior knowledge and experience into account, and if you do need support it can be done on the job – and even better, you have 3 whole years to do this if you need it!
