The scouts were giving an invitation to attend the official opening of the memorial garden in Oaken Grove park.

The guests included the Prime minister Teresa May. The Czech and Slovakia Ambassadors, The Mayor and local councellors. SIR Nicholas Winton's family.

The PM saw the scouts and looked to see which group they were from and was pleased to see it was Pinkneys Green she spoke to the scouts about Summer Camp in Cornwall which they were all going to also to Frank about his Iceland trio for his explorer belt and Daniel about his Tall ship voyage. She the Mayor and many of the other guests were impressed with the amount of badges they had achieved. Afterwards the PM had her photo taken with them.
