Gives our volunteers the best start by supporting their learning through great communication and administration. You can also be involved in planning and delivering the learning provision if interested. Mostly you will be working closely with line managers to ensure volunteers have access to the training they need for their role.
What you’ll get out of it
You’ll gain lots of experience managing a learning experience which could benefit you in your work life. You’ll get to support brand new very keen volunteers as they start their time with Scouting.
What we need from you
We’d need you to complete a DBS check and do some basic training within 5 months of you starting. Then there is some more training to do which will cover other parts of the role, but this takes prior knowledge and experience into account, and if you do need support it can be done on the job – and even better, you have 3 whole years to do this if you need it!
